Will Stein continues to turn up the temperature in the SEC and beyond as a new head coach who isn't afraid to get his hands dirty on the recruiting trail. Since his hiring late last year, he Cats' new leader has outright run away from expectations when it comes to roster-building.
Not only is the incoming Kentucky team expected to be competitive, but Stein's top 10 2027-28 class is beginning to appear otherwordly, especially by the previously set standards in Lexington. Led by No. 2 overall quarterback Jake Nawrot, next year's Wildcats could go down as a truly special bunch.
Though, in his typical fashion, Stein wants more. And in the most recent break of Kentucky Football news, he got it.
Per Hayes Fawcett on X, four-star cornerback Miles Brown has officially committed to Kentucky, choosing the blue and white over Louisville, Tennessee, and Ole Miss. In his own words: "Blue always been my color, tell BBN I'm coming home."
Kentucky All Along
Looking back at Brown's recruitment, in spite of heavy-hitting schools (also notable rivals) being involved, it appears to have been Kentucky all along. A good ol' fashion Stein locker shove (no trademark) is in order for both the red and the orange.

Brown was given a crystal ball to Kentucky earlier this month (via 247Sports), having long been assumed as a Wildcat before he made his decision. Still, while this win wasn't a surprise to the Big Blue Nation, that didn't make the announcement any less exciting.
A new opportunity to dunk on rival fans and yet another piece moving into place for Stein's competitive takeover are two occasions worth celebrating at any interval. Brown's commitment delivers both.
A Four-Star Stud
When it comes to Brown himself, he's a springy, 5-foot-11 defender that has a good eye for the field and gets in passing lanes with disruptive ease. As was noted by 247Sports' Andrew Ivins, Brown "Anticipates routes and will jump in front of passes (4 pick-sixes as a junior)."
The latter statistic stands out the most - a handful of pick-sixes is all some fans will need to see to get on board with this one - but Brown's overall profile is one of a player who should be able to make a case for himself immediately upon arrival.
This coming season remains the focus of the BBN as Stein nears his first year on the sideline, but it's hard not to look ahead at what's to come, too.
Kentucky Football is building something objectively special, and is doing so rather quickly. Don't expect Stein to slow down anytime soon, either; he's just getting started.
