He's been covering the Wildcats since Mark Pope came home in April of 2024 and has been working in sports media since his Freshman year at the University of Cincinnati in 2017. Alex's passion for watching games, analying games-- including game-chaning plays, momentum swings, and the small overlooked plays with how they impact the overall game-- is what makes him a fun, reliable source to have conversations with about the Cats. Previously, Alex has written for the Associated Press and Field Level Media and worked as a news producer at ABC6 in Columbus, Ohio. Living in Cincinnati, Alex's family has had Bengals Season Tickets since 1968, and Alex has seen every game since Week 12 of the 2004 Season-- when the Begnals out-slugged the Browns 58-48. About FanSided
The idea of FanSided was born in 2007, when two brothers felt that their favorite team, the Kansas City Chiefs, was being under-covered by the mainstream media. Taking matters into their own hands, they launched Arrowhead Addict, a move that would spawn the creation of FanSided in 2009, a network of over 300+ fan-powered unique sports, entertainment and lifestyle sites dedicated to team-specific, sport-specific, genre-specific, and fanbase-specific coverage. From sports, movies and TV to lifestyle and tech, FanSided has you covered.
