Will Stein has done the most in trying to overhaul Kentucky Football's reputation throughout the course of one summer. And, in a big blue miracle, he's mostly pulled it off; the next few years at Kroger Field have the early makings of a revival on the gridiron for this program.
This weekend, in the wake of all his recent recruiting efforts, Stein is hosting a total of 14 players on a packed visit to Lexington. Per Nick Roush, 13 of the 14 guys are Kentucky commits already, with four-star wide receiver Tyler Fryman standing out as the lone unsecured target. They'll have that man surrounded.
While Fryman, a current Louisville baseball pledge (truly wild to have him on a Kentucky visit), is the main priority for a new commitment, the nature of players flipping allegiances nowadays means this visit is just as important for the guys who have already made their decisions.
Maybe cake will help sway any and every prospect in the blue and white direction? According to Tyler Thompson, every visitor will get a "Big Blueberry" cake from Coach Stein's mother.
Don't underestimate that personal touch. Stein is doing it different in Lexington, and we'd be remiss to question his sugar sweet methods.
Looks like Kentucky Football's official visitors will be getting special "Big Blueberry" Sissy Cakes from Will Stein's mother, Debbie.

Stein's Recruiting Methods
Having put together what is currently a top 20 class for 2027-28, via 247Sports, nobody has any business questioning Stein's methods, anyway. It's the majority of that bunch coming to campus for this very visit, led by No. 2 overall quarterback Jake Nawrot.
Nawrot, who has vied for a fifth star to round off his high ranking all offseason, is one of the most bejewled prospects to ever commit to Kentucky Football. For Stein to land him alone in his first summer behind the wheel was a massive accomplishment.
But pair Nawrot with the aforementioned Fryman, and you've got a real force to be reckoned with for years to come in Stein's offense.
Fryman, who is also being recruited on the football front by Cincinnati, Illinois, and Iowa, among others, already has a crystal ball prediction in place for Kentucky from 247Sports. It may only be a matter of time before Stein closes that deal and goes a perfect 14/14 among his visitors, even if we can't be fully sure of that now.
Regardless, it's a thrilling weekend for a football program that hasn't seen motion like this in years. We're less than three months away from the first kickoff on a new head coach's tenure at Kroger Field in more than a decade.
