2. Kevin Knox attacking offensive glass

This is one of the more complete games that Kevin Knox has played this season. BBN knows Knox can shoot and knows he can score. But most of the scoring Knox has done this season has been catch and shoot three-point shots.

In the 2nd half of Kentucky basketball’s win over Alabama, Knox ATTACKED the offensive glass. He grabbed his own offensive rebounds but also grabbed his teammates’ offensive rebounds. He attacked the basket, with and without the ball. Knox wasn’t easy to guard and he wasn’t standing and watching the game.

It all started with the three-point shot he hit in the corner right in front of the UK bench. But instead of falling in love with the three-point line, Knox started rim-running and grabbing offensive rebounds. His athleticism is elite, but his effort isn’t yet. He needs to continue playing hard and playing with passion when the ball is not in his hands.

This team will be absolutely unstoppable if Knox and Vanderbilt play together at the same time and both attack the offensive glass. Knox showed a lot of maturity and improvement today, and BBN hopes he’ll continue to build on it.
