The NBA Draft has concluded and many Kentucky Basketball players will be headed to their new teams. That means we will see them in action in the NBA summer league.

After the NBA Draft, three Kentucky Basketball stars have a new home. The Sacramento Kings selected De’Aaron Fox with the fifth pick in the NBA Draft. Malik Monk fell unexpectedly to the Charlotte Hornets at the eleventh pick. Also, Bam Adebayo was the final pick in the lottery after being selected by the Miami Heat. Now they begin their careers in the NBA Summer League

The NBA Summer League gives these young talents an early chance to participate in their organization’s practices. Monk, Fox, and Adebayo will all be playing for their respective teams in the Summer League.

Undrafted free agents Isaac Humphries, Isaiah Briscoe in addition to Derek Willis are headed to the Summer League.

The former Kentucky players did not hear their name called in the NBA Draft.

But, they all have signed on to participate in Summer League action. With hopes of earning a roster spot on an NBA roster, the chance is there for these three to impress.

Here is a compiled list of Kentucky Basketball players and where they will be playing in the NBA Summer League:

Orlando Magic Summer League

The Orlando Summer League will tip off first from July 1-6 with eight teams. The Charlotte Hornets, Orlando Magic, New York Knicks, and Oklahoma City Thunder will participate. Also, the Miami Heat, Indiana Pacers, Dallas Mavericks, and the Detroit Pistons will join them.

Several Kentucky Wildcats will be playing in Orlando. According to multiple sources, three Kentucky players will suit up in the Orlando League.

  • Malik Monk*, Charlotte Hornets
  • Bam Adebayo, Miami Heat
  • Derek Willis, Detroit Pistons
  • Dakari Johnson, Oklahoma City Thunder

*Malik Monk will be doubtful for Summer League action due to an ankle injury.

The Utah Summer League

The Utah Summer League will begin on July 3. It will last for three full days including four teams. The Boston Celtics, Utah Jazz, San Antonio Spurs, and also the Philadelphia 76ers will headline this league.

There’s only one team that will include a Kentucky Basketball player and that team is the 76ers. Philadelphia happens to have three former Wildcats on their Summer League roster.

  • Alex Poythress, Philadelphia 76ers
  • Isaiah Briscoe, Philadelphia 76ers
  • Aaron Harrison, Philadelphia 76ers

Las Vegas Summer League

In addition to the other leagues, the Las Vegas Summer League hosts the most teams. The league will tip off on July 7 and span five days. The remaining teams in the NBA will participate in the Vegas Summer League. Finally, here are the Kentucky Basketball players slated to perform on the Vegas stage:

  • De’Aaron Fox, Sacramento Kings
  • Dominique Hawkins, Sacramento Kings
  • Skal Labissiere, Sacramento Kings
  • Isaac Humphries, Washington Wizards
  • Mychal Mulder, Toronto Raptors

The Philadelphia 76ers will also play in the Vegas summer league. Also, the Miami Heat will join in as well. So, Briscoe, Harrison, and Poythress will join Bam Adebayo in Vegas for more NBA summer league action.
