Senior . Kerr Kriisa. Player Ranking. Kerr Kriisa. 469. . 3. . Point Guard. player

This was a long time coming. Pope had pursued Kriisa twice before out of high school and when he transferred from Arizona to West Virginia.

Kentucky needed a legit point guard though. Not only did Pope get that with Kriisa, he also got someone who was extremely experienced. Kriisa has played 99 games and started 93 in four seasons.

He also won two Pac-12 Championships at Arizona. That's an experienced player who has played in big time games.

Kriisa averaged a career-high 11.0 points per game this season while shooting a career-high 42.9 percent from the field. Kriisa also shot 42.4 percent on 2.7 made 3s per game -- both career-bests as well.

Kriisa added 4.7 assists per game as well.

Kriisa brings talent, yes. But, he's one of the most experienced and battle-tested point guards in the country and seems to have a bit of a chip on his shoulder after a disappointing season from a team perspective last year.
