Kentucky earned a commitment from big time Oklahoma guard transfer Otega Oweh on Saturday, its second commit

This comes on the heels of earning a commitment from SDSU guard transfer Lamont Butler.

Oweh is a 6-foot-5, 215-pound scoring wing who is tough and athletic. Oweh averaged 11.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and shot 37.7 percent from three this year at Oklahoma.

While he shot a healthy percent from three, he's a slasher at heart with 61 percent of his field goal attempts coming at the rim. He uses his frame to get to the rim at will, nearly four attempts per game, but only shoots 64.3 percent.

When Oweh doesn't attack the rim, he is best as a spot up shooter, ranking in the 87th percentile last season in catch and shoot opportunities.

Oweh is the third commitment through the transfer portal, joining Butler and Drexel big man Amari Williams.

Kentucky now has five scholarship players on the roster for next year.

Oweh kicked off a busy recruiting weeknd with five prospects on campus.
