Kerr Kriisa grew up and played high school basketball in Europe, mostly in Estonia and Lithuania. He was originally recruited by Sean Miller to play for the Arizona Wildcats, and he has spent the last four years playing in America. He is still adjusting to some of the traditions and holidays in America. One thing he's not convinced by and thinks isn't very good is Thanksgiving food.

He loves to talk trash. He is known for his swagger, bravado, and his ability to talk trash on and off the court. He went viral for his comments about Cooper Flagg before the Duke matchup. Even when he clarified his comments after the game, he still had a little smack to talk. This week, the shade he wanted to throw was at Thanksgiving food.

In his post-game interview after the Western Kentucky win, he was asked about Thanksgiving and if there was any food that he was looking forward to. He said, "No, absolutely no, Thanksgiving food is not my eats. I absolutely hate it. Ham, green beans, that's not my food." He went on to say, "I like the idea of Thanksgiving, but the food is not it." The next quote about ham and apple pie needs to be heard for yourself:

When Andrew Carr heard about Kriisa's hilarious Thanksgiving food takes, he proceeded to roast him while laughing, "What did he say? He likes soup or something like that?" He proceeded to laugh through the fact that Kriisa doesn't like apple pie either, "That's my favorite, come on, Kerr!"

Kriisa did go on to say that he is very thankful this Thanksgiving, "I'm thankful for my first free throw," he joked. He went on to say in a more serious way, "I'm thankful for a lot of things, for my family, for this family (BBN), there's a lot of things to be thankful for." Happy Thanksgiving!
