Look, when Will Stein said "everyone wants to work with Will Stein," he wasn't playing around. We reported on the first wave of portal visits here. They include 4 offensive linemen and 2 defensive linemen. That is definitely a point of emphasis for Kentucky in the portal, and that continues with another wave of big-time visits.

Kentucky football portal visit list 2.0

Michai Boireau  — Defensive line (Florida)

Jay Bateman likes them beefy apparently, standing at 6'5 and 349 pounds. Boireau is another mountain of a man to play along the front 4. You need guys like him to avoid being pushed around in the run game, but don't let his size fool you; the man can rush the passer, too. He finished 2025 with 20 total tackles and 2 sacks.

Hunter Osborne — Defensive line (West Viriginia)

Another 6'4 prototype lineman, which seems to be a pattern emerging here so far in the early portal hours. The reason height is so important on the line is that if you can't get home with the rush, the next best thing is a batted ball. Much easier to do that with a 6'4 frame than someone at 6'0. Osborne had 15 total tackles and a sack last year for the Mountaineers.

Hasaan Sykes — Cornerback (Western Carolina)

When DJ Waller announced he was leaving Kentucky, we told you that the reason was the shift from zone coverage to man coverage. Take a look at the different profiles here. DJ was 6'3 and 203 pounds; Sykes is 6'0 and 185 pounds, that is a massive difference. It allows for more fluidity, speed, and man coverage ability. Sykes is also a sure tackler, finishing 2025 with 44 total tackles, 3 INTs, and a forced fumble.

Ahmad Breaux — Defensive line (LSU)

Here we go again with the trenches; it is like having a good defensive and offensive line is important or something. Breaux is another Tiger (3 so far) that has scheduled a visit with the Cats. He finished 2025 with 19 total tackles and .5 a sack.

Anthony Hawkins — Safety (Villanova)

Hawkins is a 6'3 ball-seeking safety. He finds the ball carrier, and he tackles the ball carrier, not much more you can ask from the centerfielder of the defense. His 59 total tackles would have had him 4th on the team last year. He also had 2 INTs and would slot very nicely alongside the returning Ty Bryant.

QuentinTaylor Jr. — Cornerback (Iowa State)

The redshirt freshman finished 2025 with 27 total tackles. He will have 3 years remaining wherever he chooses to go. For now, again, the profile is starting to fit. He is 6'0, which seems to be the sweet spot for Will Stein and corners, but he also has experience playing safety, which would be useful for a team rebuilding the secondary.

Khalil Poteat — Defensive line (Temple)

Hey, what do you know? Another 6'5 defensive lineman. Poteat finished 2025 with 29 tackles, 1 sack, and forced 2 fumbles. Not a name that will jump off this page at you, but the production and fit seem to be there.

This is in addition to the already 8 announced visits from this morning; Kentucky is a very busy school. Stay tuned to our portal tracker for all the latest news as it breaks.
