Some salt was shed.

We all love a good troll. Not the kind that says the same thing over and over, or annoys you. The kind that rivals share and then shake hands after. This is one of those occasions. After Kentucky landed Nebraska commit Kenny Minchey, Will Compton took to X to share his frustration with the whole situation.

Pete Nochta, who joined Will Stein as assistant GM of the Kentucky football team, decided to bask in the glory of a recruiting victory.

Bussin' with the Boys will be a fun listen with all the Will Compton tears

It all started when Dylan Raiola decided he did not want to continue playing in Nebraska any longer. He entered the portal, and Matt Rhule went looking for a replacement. He found him, or so he thought, when Kenny Minchey agreed to come to Nebraska. But he never actually signed with Nebraska; it was just a handshake kind of thing.

Will Stein zeroed in on Sam Leavitt to be his QB1 in Lexington. Leavitt, however, wanted to keep his options open and take another visit. First, it was Texas Tech, which was locked in a battle with LSU over Brendan Sorsby, a former Cincinnati QB. Sorsby decided he wanted to get that oil money and committed to the Red Raiders.

Leavitt, after a multi-day visit in Lexington, decided he wanted to then visit LSU, which is desperate for a QB with Lane Kiffin. Will Stein wasted no time in moving on and turned to his number 2 choice, Kenny Minchey.

That brings us to the current moment, Compton took to X and shared a doom filled message:

Nochta, in a boss move, reposted that message.

Compton, for his part, went on a rant that we will not post here, but you can click here if you'd like to read it.
