Last week was the Winner has to keep their coach bowl against Auburn, and this week we have the Apathy Bow. lKentucky and Florida are kicking off later tonight over at Kroger Field in a game that has about as much excitement as a day at the DMV. Florida doesn't have a permanent coach, and many fans feel like Kentucky doesn't either, but that's another story.
Neither team is playing particularly well. Kentucky comes in after notching their first SEC win of any kind in 10 tries, but they still carry the embarrassment of a 10-game SEC home losing streak.
Florida is coming in off a tough 24-20 loss to rival Georgia. They already fired their coach, Billy Napier, and are in the middle of a season where they may not make a bowl game. Both teams are 3-5, both need a win to hold out hope for a bowl game, and both fanbases are looking more towards the future than this game. And a win for Kentucky may upset more fans than it pleases.

Prediction
I don't think either team is playing well right now, so I don't know which version will show up. We spoke with a Florida expert here, and he is pretty confident in a Gators win. I am not so sure, but I do think we will see a low-scoring, close game that comes down to a handful of plays. Kentucky is usually on the losing end of those kinds of games recently, but I don't think that trend continues.
Prediction: Kentucky 21, Florida 17.
It won't be pretty, but it'll be a win. And that will likely be just enough to convince the administration to keep Mark Stoops in Lexington for at least one more year.
Sorry BBN.
