Saturday afternoon, following BJ Boston’s pledge to Kentucky, assistant coach Joel Justus sent out a cryptic tweet possibly regarding Jalen Green

Jalen Green is a five-star shooting guard and clear priority for John Calipari and Kentucky. It’s no secret that Green and brand new Kentucky Wildcats commit BJ Boston are pals and both kids have hinted at possibility pairing up in college. Well, BJ already announced his intentions and UK assistant coach Joel Justus (who, by the way, is “coming into his own” as an elite recruiter) sent out an excitable yet possibly cryptic tweet afterward:

I spy with my astute eye something GREEEEEEN! Boston Celtics. 11 championships. Bill Russell. Larry Legend. KG (no, no, not Kentucky Gentlemen for heaven’s sakes). All shared the Celtic green. Green. What a color! I love it.

But why do I love it? Well, remember like 40 seconds ago when I told you our new skinny afroman is good friends with top-three recruit Jalen Green? Ok, so BJ tells everyone he’s going to Kentucky and, of course, the coaching staff celebrates. But Joel Justus celebrates with a hunger, a #whowantstobenext attached to his tweet. Great! Joel is taking after his mentor; the grind never ends on the recruiting trail. To quote Mark Stoops, “we’re just getting started, bro” on this 2020 class. But hey Joel, who might be next to join the Wildcat brigade? (Clovers. I’ll leave it at that).

Next. BJ Boston commits to Kentucky. dark

If that tweet means what I think it means (who knows, maybe he’s just joshing us), then BJ Boston started a big blue 2020 recruiting wave that’s gonna catch a lot of seafaring five-stars. I’m not saying, I’m just saying: I think Jalen Green will end up at Kentucky.
