5. Scoring in bunches, again

The Kentucky basketball team has another game in which the scoring has been plentiful and spread out. Quade Green, SGA, Kevin Knox, Hamidou Diallo, PJ Washington and Wenyen Gabriel were all effective scorers against Ole Miss. The Cats were able to put at least 5 players in double figures, nearly scoring 100 points.

With the defense that UK has shown they’re capable of playing, balanced scoring is a key. If the Cats continue to guard, defend and rebound, they’re a dangerous team. But if they continue to do that and also put 4-5 players in double figures, they’re a title contender. On any given night, UK has the ability to put 5 players in double figures. Even crazier, on any given night the Cats can even put 6 players in double figures. This team can defend and this team can score. If they commit to doing both each and every night, they can find themselves playing into April.
