5. Hami Diallo, what a bad game

It was not a very good night at all for Hamidou Diallo. Hami wasn’t just unproductive, but he couldn’t be on the floor at the end of the game. The Cats were much more efficient with Diallo on the bench, and to be honest, this is true for most games on the season.

For WHATEVER reason – I have no idea why – Calipari put him back in the game for a late defensive possession. No, just no. I understand he did well against Carter at WVU, but Riley LaChance dribbled right around Diallo for critical layup. The Cats had clawed back, they went from a 14 point deficit to down 2 WITHOUT Hami on the floor. I just don’t understand why Calipari would make that decision. Please Kenny Payne, please John Robic, don’t let Calipari make these kind of decisions.
