4. PJ in the zone

Am I the only one who wonders why PJ Washington plays on the top of the 2-3 zone? Washington is one of the top rebounders on the team. He’s on of the strongest members Cats, and one of the best at battling in the paint. But in the zone, he’s far removed from the paint and rebounding areas.

With the groups tonight, I’d like to see Knox’s length up top instead, since he doesn’t play physical in the paint. Of course, SGA and Hami up top together makes a lot of sense as well. It’s important for zone defenses to rebound after the first shot, and to have PJ out on the perimeter makes that difficult for the Cats.
