Bonus rushed reaction: This was not Calipari’s finest game

What on earth was Calipari thinking with putting Wenyen back in the game with 4 fouls and 12 minutes left to play? That simply can’t happen. Kentucky was only down 2 points and a TV timeout was fast approaching. I get it, PJ was in the locker room injured and Richards was in foul trouble. But why not try to at least steal a few minutes with someone else, or try going extra small with Wenyen on the bench? I just don’t understand putting Gabriel back out there with 4 fouls and over 12 minutes to play. It would have been very beneficial to have Wenyen on the floor during the last 5 minutes of the game.

I also don’t understand why Calipari didn’t adjust to Tennessee’s zone offense. The Cats continued to allow UT to enter the ball into the high post. Then it was layup after dunk after layup. Calipari never adjusted the zone to take away the high post. Tonight was not Calipari’s best game on the sidelines and with X’s and O’s.
