Guarding the pick/roll

I expect to see most SEC opponents continue to put Kentucky in ball-screen situations. The UK basketball team has not done a good job this season defending ball-screens and pick ‘n roll or pick ‘n pop situations. If Nick Richards or Sacha Killeya-Jones are in the game, expect to see Tennessee using ball-screens. If Kentucky struggles to defend, I expect  Calipari to switch to a 2-3 zone in order to survive the game. Today’s game will show whether UK has improved its ball-screen defense since the LSU game or if they have continued to improve their 2-3 zone in practice.
