Protecting the paint

This might be my biggest concern for Kentucky today. On the road, in front of a rowdy crowd, against a very energetic UT team. The Vols are going to look to attack the basket, both on feeding the post and dribble penetration. Look for the Vols to try and establish a post presence early with forward Grant Williams, who averages nearly 16 points per game. Williams will likely be guarded by PJ Washington and Wenyen Gabriel. Another forward, Admiral Schofield, is the 2nd leading scorer for the Vols, although Schofield will look to do a little more of his scoring from three-point land. But Schofield and guard Jordan Bowden both like to drive into the paint and finish at the rim.  The Cats must defend the dribble drive, but also rotate to take away dump-down passes for easy layups.
