5. Get the ball to Shai

When the Kentucky Wildcats need a timely basket, I want the ball in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s hands. Shai is the best on the team right now at getting the shots he wants. He gets into the paint, has a smooth spin move and is finishing really well at the rim. Gilgeous-Alexander’s perimeter shot still seems a little suspect, but he’s floater and pull-up jumper are both serious threats. As he continues to draw more attention, he’ll start getting more assists too as the defense rotates to stop his penetration. As long as he can penetrate and operate in space, I’ll take the ball in his hands when we need a bucket.
