Kentucky basketball vs LSU Tigers: 3 keys to the game, TV/ radio, prediction
By Drew Koch
1. Tremont Waters
Will Wade wasted no time upon his arrival in Baton Rouge finding a point guard to lead his team. Tremont Waters, a 4-star recruit by 247Sports.com, decommitted from Georgetown and then committed to the Tigers last summer.
Waters is a quick, dynamic guard with a pass-first mentality and has good range. The first-year player is averaging 17.1 points per game, 6.3 assists and hitting almost 45% of this three-point attempts. Waters, who is small in stature, will remind Kentucky basketball fans of Tyler Ulis. Quade Green and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will have to stay locked on to the 5’11” guard from Connecticut or risk being exploited by Waters’ speed and quickness.
