5. Gilgeous-Alexander comes up big again

The best player on the floor for Kentucky against Georgia was Gilgeous-Alexander. The man was everywhere for the Kentucky basketball team. Defensively, he grabbed rebounds and stole passes. He picked the pocket of Georgia ball-handlers then dunked on them. His energy and emotion catapulted the Wildcats into their comeback bid. He hit shots from the perimeter, broke his man down 1-on-1 and scored in the paint.

Gilgeous-Alexander is the current MVP for the Cats. He is a phenomenal talent that Big Blue Nation is going to see continue to improve, especially offensively. As his perimeter shot continues to gain consistency, look out college basketball. His ability to read angles and finish around the rim both have room for improvement too. As much as I love his game right now, come March Gilgeous-Alexander is going to be a national name not only in college basketball but on NBA Mock Draft boards as well.
