Former Kentucky Basketball star Julius Randle has had a respectable NBA career so far. He is ready to take his game to another level.
Julius Randle has been a bright spot on a struggling Lakers franchise. With Magic Johnson at the helm, the Lakers will return to the top of the league eventually. If that’s going to happen, Julius Randle wants to be a part of it. The former Kentucky Basketball star is working hard to continue competing at a high level.
After having a stellar freshman season at Kentucky, Randle is no stranger to new challenges. The Lakers front office posed a challenge to the 6-foot-9 forward to come back in incredible shape next season. Magic Johnson and company must have big plans in mind for the franchise. They may be excited to see this three week transformation of Julius Randle.

It looks as though Randle has been putting in some serious work. Julius started in 73 of the 74 games that he played in this season. In addition to Randle’s starting role, he has averaged nearly a double double in his three year NBA Career (Only played in one game in 2014-15).

The Future of The Lakers
The Los Angeles Lakers drafted the Kentucky Basketball star in the first round of the 2013 NBA Draft. The Lakers are one of the most storied franchises in all of professional basketball. Although Los Angeles finished 26-56 after the 2016-17 season, things will be looking up vert soon. Magic Johnson will be working with the second pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. Most experts and analysts are picking Lonzo Ball as the Lakers’ choice for the pick.

Also, they have one of the best young players on the squad in Brandon Ingram and have a good core of guards to build around.
