Kentucky Football: Wildcats add another offensive lineman to the 2018 recruiting class

Offensive line must be a position of emphasis in the 2018 recruiting cycle. Kentucky Football offensive line coach John Schlarman will be pleased to add another prospect to his group.

The Ohio recruiting pipeline continues as Quintin Wilson (Cincinnati) has committed to the Kentucky Football program. Recruiting coordinator Vince Marrow reels in another prospect from the Buckeye State.

Wilson, a three-star center from Walnut Hills High School in Cincinnati committed to the Wildcats Sunday afternoon. At 6-foot-3 and 290 pounds, Wilson presents with an interior offensive line body type. According to the 247Sports Composite, Wilson is ranked as the eighth best center prospect in the country

Quintin Wilson is the third offensive line prospect to make his pledge to the Wildcats in the 2018 recruiting cycle. Offensive lineman are the core of the 2018 recruiting class. McCall is the top rated player in Michigan. With Kentucky Football beating out the likes of Michigan and Michigan State for recruits, something special is happening in the war room in Lexington.

The rest of the class includes Ohio standouts Brendan Bates (TE), and Alex Reigelsperger (DE). Also, Florida wide receivers Shocky Jacques-Louis and Marvin Alexander have made their pledge to the Cats. Additionally, defensive end Davoan Hawkins rounds out the rest of the class.

Currently, 247Sports has Kentucky Football’s 2018 recruiting class ranked at No. 22 in the country and third in the Southeastern Conference. Additionally, quarterback prospect Jarren Williams is currently still considering the Wildcats as an option after decommitting just a few weeks ago. Williams still has Kentucky high on his list. Kentucky looks to take advantage of the early signing period and ink some of these prospects early on in the recruiting cycle.
