First Five Minutes

The first five minutes of the game is where Cats’ fans can can get a feel for the game. During this time, Bam Adebayo has either set his presence inside, or sitting on the bench with two early fouls. Isaiah Briscoe has taken two threes and driven into the lane for three turnovers, or he has simulated the role of a court general. There is no in between. What’s so frustrating, is the fact that these young Wildcats cannot be consistent.

Let’s just say there is a lot of criticism of shot selections going on during this time. Loud noises and expletives are expressed in the direction of the television. This is the period of time in which the Cats make the most mistakes as they find a rhythm for the contest. Right out of the gate, the Big Blue Nation is fired up and ready to take on the world.
