Kentucky Wildcats Football: Halloween Game Festivities

Jen Smith of the Lexington Herald-Leader pieced together a list of activities surrounding the Kentucky Wildcats football game against the Tennessee Volunteers this Saturday, Halloween night.

All the actions begins at 10 a.m. EST as SEC Nation rolls into Lexington for their game of the week.

Here’s what you need to know,

"The day kicks off with SEC Nation, the SEC Network’s traveling pregame show, airing in the Purple Lot located off Alumni drive.Starting at 3:30 p.m., families can take part in Halloween activities at Wildcat Park located near Gate 9. Those activities will include face painting, arts and crafts and some trick-or-treating.Extra trick-or-treat locations with candy provided by several local retailers will be set up near Nutter Field House and at guest services locations at Commonwealth Stadium outside gates one, four, nine and 12. At 4:30 p.m.The G Funk All Stars will play the pre-game concert in the parking area outside Commonwealth Stadium starting at 4:50 after the Breeders’ Cup Mile, which will be shown on a large video board near the concert stage.There will be a break for the Cat Walk at 5:15, followed by an encore by the band and time to watch the Breeders’ Cup Classic at 5:35 p.m. The complete schedule:10 a.m. – “SEC Nation” live from the Purple Lot off Alumni Road12:05 p.m. — Post time for first of Breeders’ Cup races airing on screens near Gate 13:30 p.m. — Wildcat Park opens with Halloween festivities4:15-4:50 p.m. — Dee Jay Silver plays following the Twin Spires Spring4:30 p.m. — Trick-or-treating opens at other official locations around stadium4:55 p.m. — G Funk All Stars concert after Breeders’ Cup Mile5:15 p.m. — Cat Walk5:40 p.m. — G Funk All Stars encore following the Breeders’ Cup Classic at 5:357:30 p.m. — Kickoff of Tennessee at Kentucky"
