Today, Mark Stoops and the Kentucky Wildcats are hosting some of the nations top recruits at the Friday Night Blue Lights Camp. While there, some past, present, and future players were able to see the new stadium renovations first hand, as well as discuss what the Kentucky Wildcats football program is all about. One part of the new renovations that often gets overlooked are the small things, including mantras posted around the stadium. Jeff Drummond caught one while heading onto the field, which appears to be the Kentucky Wildcats new mission statement. Check out the full statement below.

THIS IS A NEW ERA. A REVOLUTION.
IT MEANS NO EXCUSES. NO APOLOGIES.
NO RESTRAINTS. WE ONLY GET BETTER,
STRONGER, FASTER, SMARTER.
CONSTANT PREPARATION,
CONSTANT IMPROVEMENT.
PHYSICALLY, MENTALLY,
TACTICALLY, TECHNICALLY.
AN INNOVATIVE HIGH PERFORMANCE
APPROACH WITH A BLUE-COLLAR MENTALITY.
HONOR OUT TRADITION
BY CREATING A NEW ONE.
OLD SCHOOL MEETS NEW SCHOOL,
MEETS OUR SCHOOL.
IN KENTUCKY, WE SING ONE SONG.
IT’S NOT JUST PLAYERS.
IT’S NOT JUST COACHES.
IT’S NOT JUST FANS.
IT’S EVERYBODY, TOGETHER, ALL IN.
A BIG BLUE NATION THAT NEVER GIVES UP.
NEVER QUITS, NEVER STOPS ASKING,
WHY KENTUCKY? WHY NOT?
WE EXPECT NOTHING BUT SUCCESS.
WE MOVE ON FROM FAILURE.
WE ONLY LOOK FORWARD.
ATTACKING EVERYDAY.
WE. BELIEVE.
WE’RE CHANGING MINDSETS.
WE’RE CHANGING ATTITUDES.
WE RECRUIT. WE DEVELOP.
WE’RE NOT TRYING TO BE EVERYONE ELSE.
WE’RE WORKING TO BEAT EVERYONE ELSE.
WE ARE BUILDING A FOUNDATION.
FOR CONTINUED SUCCESS AND
NATIONAL PROMINENCE.
WE ARE BUILDING SOMETHING TO BE PROUD OF.
WE ARE BUILDING A FOOTBALL PROGRAM.
WE ARE CHANGING THE GAME.
I’m not sure about you, but reading this gets me jacked up for football season. Mark Stoops and the Kentucky Wildcats are clearly improved, even going as far to have one media member voting them to win the SEC East. Of course, this likely won’t happen this season, but it just shows that the work Mark Stoops and staff has not gone unnoticed. And with the new mission statement plastered in Commonwealth Stadium for all to see, it sounds like results are now expected to happen. Something that Kentucky Wildcats fans are surely excited to hear.
