Andrew and Aaron Harrison
Let’s talk about some of the most criticized players in the history of college basketball. If they sneezed wrong, Twitter would explode with hate. I don’t know how they handled it, and sometimes, they didn’t handle it well, requiring their dad to make a trip from Texas to Kentucky to calm down his sons and get them back into the right state of mind. They took the Wildcats to back-to-back Final Fours, last second shots by one and solid play-making by the other. These are some of the most quiet, professional and caring kids I’ve ever come across. Andrew’s stock is on the rise, while teams seem to be less than impressed with Aaron, which is mind boggling. They’ll both likely end up in the second round, but Aaron isn’t even projected in some drafts, which is flabbergasting. I truly hope he’s drafted tonight, if not, teams are passing on one guy they need, he makes plays when they’re needed. Andrew can play small ball and play with other point guards, sit on the bench and cheer for his team, their is no limits for either of these guys. If Aaron isn’t drafted, which I truly hope isn’t the case, he’ll quickly be added to the league and make them regret not drafting him, he may even get to play with Andrew again if he isn’t drafted.
Good luck guys, Big Blue Nation is behind you and will always support, love and miss you.
