Former Kentucky Wildcats: Seven Dreams Coming True Tonight
Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports
Willie Cauley-Stein
The former wide receiver that college programs passed on, the player who was told he’d never be a super star, the kid who gets his love for basketball questioned because of his eclectic style and personality. The one, the only, Willie Cauley-Stein. He gave the Wildcats a GREAT three years, something a lot of others haven’t done since John Calipari took lead in Lexington. Just like Towns, Cauley-Stein gets it, he gets what it is to be a Wildcat and he embraced it, Big Blue Nation will miss this shot blocking machine. Reports are all over the place for this one, but if he’s not drafted in the top 10, he won’t slide past the top 15. He’s another great personality and skilled player that will be molded into one of the best players in the NBA, just like Towns. Big Blue Nation will miss this guy big time, but he, too, will have fans wherever he ends up, but the Big Blue Nation will always love him more.
