Seven former Kentucky Wildcats will have their dreams coming true tonight at the 2015 NBA Draft. It’s one of the most bittersweet moments for the Big Blue Nation as they watch in anticipation to hear their players names called, like it’s their own child. They’ll be missed in Lexington, but they’ll still have the best fan base in the country behind them.
Let’s take a look at whose dreams are coming true tonight.

Karl-Anthony Towns
The charismatic, charming kid with a constant smile on his face, Karl-Anthony Towns will likely be the #1 overall pick by the Minnesota Timberwolves. His potential in the NBA is limitless, with his personality and skill, he’s going to have a strong and long NBA career, and don’t be surprised if you see him in Lexington often, you can tell he loves Wildcat country, he’ll be back soon. He’s a great example of who you want in your franchise, playing wise and personality wise. Every year there is a player that seems to just get it more than anyone else ever has, what it means to play at Kentucky, give it your all and how you must act, I just don’t see anyone trumping Towns in this category. He is a prime example of what you need to be when you come to Kentucky. In his one year with the Wildcats, he was one of the best players the Wildcats have ever had on their roster, and now it’s time to hold your breath while the Timberwolves are on the clock, let’s hope that’s where he goes, he will be a fan favorite fast.
