Defeating the #1 team multiple times this season (Virginia in the season opener and South Carolina twice), the Cats are 28-19 wrapping up conference play. UK also boasts arguably the top player in the country in A.J. Reed who has smacked 20 homeruns and is a contender for all major baseball national POY awards.
