John Calipari is the head coach of the USA U19 team. His roster could include three current Kentucky cats, as well as other top Kentucky Basketball recruits.

Gary Parrish of CBS Sports released a speculated list of players that were invited to the USA U19 training camp. There are several Kentucky Basketball targets on the list. Also, there are three Wildcat freshman on the list.

Hamidou Diallo, Kevin Knox, and PJ Washington will get the option to attend training camp with John Calipari at the helm.

This is a very impressive list of talent. Most notably, it is a list of possible recruits that John Calipari gets the chance to coach. Most people could assume that this occurrence is an advantage for John Calipari on the recruiting trail. Those people would probably be right.

Kentucky Targets

There are a number of Kentucky recruiting targets on this list. Bol Bol is probably the top name on the list that Kentucky is in the running to get. Also, Immanuel Quickley is a probable name that may give his pledge to Kentucky following the U19 World Championships. Quickley released his final four list just weeks ago and Kentucky made the cut.

Other names of recruits that Kentucky is after include Cameron Reddish and Romeo Langford. Reddish, although all voters on the 247Sports Crystal Ball predict him headed to Duke, could get a change of heart with Calipari at the helm. Romeo Langford is another target that 247Sports predicts will be headed elsewhere. Louisville is currently in the lead for the Indiana native. Expect Kentucky’s chances to improve.

The other prep player on this list is Louis King. King is a four star player from New Jersey. He holds offers from Louisville, Maryland, Seton Hall and Arizona State among others. Kentucky has not offered yet, but interest is rising. Look for the Cats to become a major player if King impresses Coach Cal at training camp. King’s Crystal Ball even has Kentucky leading the way with 60 percent of the vote.

Here is some highlights of King’s game:
