The NBA Draft is quickly approaching. Kentucky Basketball players may highlight the lottery. The biggest question of the draft is should the Lakers take De’Aaron Fox or Lonzo Ball?

Loans Ball is a name that is all over the news and headlines mainly because of his father. Lavar Ball is a man of many words. Basically, because the mainstream media has published everything that he’s said. His outlandish comments have caused him to become more famous and talked about than the NBA Draft itself. Kentucky Basketball guard De’Aaron Fox is one person who has a shot at causing an uproar in the Big Baller Brand fiasco.

Fox, torched Lonzo Ball and the UCLA Bruins in their Sweet Sixteen matchup for 39 points. Many consider Lonzo Ball the hottest commodity in the draft behind Markelle Fultz. Fultz, up to this point is widely considered a lock for the top pick in the draft. But, in the mind of De’Aaron Fox, he believes he is the best point guard in the draft class.

The NBA Draft lottery awarded the second pick belongs to the Los Angeles Lakers. As one of the most storied franchises in the NBA, the Lakers are now being ran by former Laker and Hall of Fame guard Magic Johnson. Also, the Lakers already boast one of the youngest lineups in the league. A lineup that includes former Kentucky Basketball star Julius Randle. Fox is a logical pick for the lakers at number two. Don’t be surprised if that’s what happens.

Think about this

If Markelle Fultz is a lock at the top selection to the Boston Celtics, the Lakers will need to look for a player that will be a leader on the floor. As the young Lakers look to improve with Magic Johnson at the helm, they will need a point guard with poise. Also, the next Lakers point guard will have to be able to handle the spotlight. Along with maturity, this pick needs to be someone who will not lead to a distraction of the team. Additionally, this pick must produce on the floor and give Los Angeles the best chance for success without negative spotlight.

The pick is clear. If the Lakers want the same production from an athlete without the distraction of his father, Fox is your second pick. If the Lakers want to deal with the Big Baller Brand distractions and negative publicity, even though Ball is a tremendous talent, then Lonzo is the second pick.
