Kentucky Football recruiting is looking like it may be at an all-time high. Jarren Williams recommits to the Wildcats.

Jarren Williams is a class of 2018 Kentucky Football recruit. He hails from Central Gwinnett High School in Georgia. Williams is ranked as the 13th overall dual threat quarterback in the class.

Recruiting coordinator Vince Marrow had his hand in this commitment. Darin Hinshaw will be happy with this one. Williams doesn’t have the credentials of some of the top rated quarterbacks in the country. With that said, the young man sure has opened some eyes in the south as nearly every SEC team has extended an offer. Alabama, Georgia, LSU, and Florida wanted Williams.

Generally when a recruit decommits, its not good news. With Williams, Kentucky got a win.  In some heartbreaking recruiting losses, having this win makes fans feel so much better about the situation the program is in.

The Class of 2018

Williams makes the ninth commitment of the 2018 recruiting cycle. 247Sports’ rankings have Kentucky ranked third in the SEC. Also, Finishing strong with this class is important to the development of a winning tradition in Lexington. Guys like Jarren Williams makes for other top prospects to see that there is something special going on at Kentucky.

Additionally, by way of Twitter, Williams issued a statement. Relationships as well as trust with the coaches lead to his decisions. Also, he says support from the fans is all too important to him.
