Here is his ESPN Scouting Report

"Kemp is an exciting and productive running back. Not only is he effective as a ball carrier but his receiving skills allow him to threaten defenses as a check down back and wide receiver. He has the strong frame and athleticism for the running back position at the major level of competition and adding bulk over time is a distinct possibility. He also demonstrates good tackling skills as an outside linebacker which could lead to playing time on special teams. He has the flexibility, balance and agility needed to excel when running the ball in traffic. He is quick off the mark, locating and getting into creases in a hurry. He runs the ball with a tough, over the pads, slashing style. He is an attacking, downhill runner capable of making defenders miss in the hole and at the second level. He displays excellent lateral quickness with the burst needed to get into space for huge gains. He has the balance and power to take a hit and recover for additional yardage after contact. He shows the potential to be a very effective across the formation runner. He can plant and break for big yardage. We like his vision and awareness in traffic and he displays the burst to get into space with the second gear needed to take it to the house. Although Kemp is not a dominant power back, he is a tough player who finishes strong over his pads while showing a nose for the end zone. He does a very good job in pass protection showing both the awareness and willingness to step up and take blitzing linebackers on with good punch and leverage. His hands and route-running ability indicate the potential to stay on the field in long yardage situations. Kemp may not be an immediate starter at the BCS level of play, but his skill level indicates it won’t be long before he sees early playing time."
