The latest AP Top 25 women’s college basketball rankings were released on February 3, and despite Kentucky securing two major top-25 wins, the Wildcats moved up just one spot to No. 11. Their 95-86 road victory over then-No. 13 Oklahoma was a statement win, but pollsters were hesitant to reward them with a significant jump.
Now, Kentucky enjoys a week off before facing Ole Miss and a top-five showdown against Texas on February 13—a game that could propel them even higher in the rankings. Here is the full top 25:

Kentucky’s Path Ahead
With two wins over ranked opponents, Kentucky has proven they belong in the national conversation, but their climb up the rankings remains slow. A victory over No. 4 Texas on February 13 would make it impossible for voters to ignore them any longer.
Georgia Amoore’s Record-Breaking Performance
One of the most electrifying performances of the week came from Kentucky’s Georgia Amoore, who erupted for a career-high 43 points in the Wildcats’ win over Oklahoma. She tied the school’s single-game scoring record while shooting an incredible 15-of-22 from the field and 7-of-12 from three-point range. She also dished out eight assists, cementing her status as one of the top guards in the country.
With the season heating up and critical matchups ahead, the Wildcats have a prime opportunity to keep rising in both the AP poll.
