Wildcats Stumble as Vanderbilt Shocks No. 9 Kentucky

Kentucky basketball’s struggles continue after a stunning 74-69 loss to Vanderbilt. The Wildcats, now 3-3 in SEC play, find themselves in the middle of the conference standings and at risk of falling further in both the SEC and national rankings. An SEC crown is looking less likely now.

Otega Oweh’s 21-point, 12-rebound performance wasn’t enough to overcome Jason Edwards and a surging Vanderbilt team. As Kentucky faces mounting pressure, the rest of the SEC continues to shake up with marquee matchups and surprising upsets.
