For those of you who watched until the end, I salute you. For those fans who stuck around in Kroger Field after halftime, bless you. That was just an overall ugly performance from the Cats. Nothing positive can be gained from this game.

As a Kentucky fan, all you could hope for was Boley playing well and giving you something to build on for next year. Instead, the line looked worse than it has all year as Louisville dominated the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Boley finished 6 for 15, only 48 yards and 2 INTs before being knocked out of the game on a targeting penalty.

Wimsatt hit a few deep bombs, but never really had a consistent offense. Wimsatt finished 4 for 9 121 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 INT. The cats were behind early and often, so the running game didn't get going either. The leading rusher was Jamarion Wilcox who had 2 key fumbles on 12 carries for 66 yards.

The defense didn't play much better at all. Louisville carved the Cats up on the ground, gaining a total of 358 yards. Leading rusher Isaac Brown had 26 rushes for 178 yards and 2 touchdowns, backup running back Duke Watson also went over 100 yards as well, finishing with 6 rushes for 104 yards and he also had 2 touchdowns

Really the lone bright spot for the Cats was Ja'mori Maclin who had 3 catches for 121 yards and 2 touchdowns. Once again though the Cats failed to score 21 points, and fans were left watching an inept offense for much of the game. In fact, it has been a whole season of vanilla, awful offense. Bush Hamdan is coming back, so says Mark Stoops. But he has been worse than Rich Scangarello. Liam Coen isn't walking through that door any time soon.

All of it culminated in a 41-14 beatdown, leaving Cats fans boiling over. Let's take a look at some of the best social media posts after an awful day in Lexington.

Stoops has fans tuning into Tennessee football, yuck:

Time to clean house?

I'm glad Stoops can find motivation, maybe he should use that to, you know, put a competitive football team on the field in year 12. Will fans even care next year?
