Kirby Smart, in his post-game comments, told the nation that no one believed in them against Texas. While that's not entirely true, I think many people did think the score would be flipped the other way and the Longhorns would come away with the victory. It was a big win for the Bulldogs and catapulted them to the top of the power rankings.

The Aggies continue to win in the SEC. They still haven't seen their first loss. They struggled more than they should have against Mississippi State, but they still won. An SEC win is an SEC win. As a Kentucky fan, we can see how hard those are to come by. They may face their toughest test of the season in LSU on Saturday; we will see if they can remain at the top of this list.

The Longhorns hadn't seen a foe like Georgia yet this season. We, as college football fans, may have overvalued Oklahoma and given Texas too much credit for that win. This was a tough loss for the Longhorns, but now they know what it looks like to be the best, and they will get a chance to regain lost momentum against Vanderbilt this week.

Don't sleep on LSU; they may have the best quarterback in the SEC and they continue to win in style week after week. That week one loss to USC is looking silly now, but they put that in their rearview mirror and haven't looked back.

Ball State was their week that they had a bit of a letdown after the emotional rollercoaster they have been on. They weren't as clean or crisp in that one, but it's hard to fault them after two big wins in the SEC and finally getting a week off from the conference schedule. They eventually cleared the spiderwebs and came away with the win.

Tennessee beat Alabama and acted like they were some unranked David taking down Goliath. They stormed the field and tore down the goal posts. You were ranked 11th in the nation, and you took down the 7th team in the nation; it's not that impressive. Still, they move up due to that win even if their post-game shenanigans were asinine.

Ole Miss had their bye this week and got to watch the chaos around them. They re from their bye to a deflated Oklahoma team that just fired their offensive coordinator. This could be a big week for the Rebels.

I still think Missouri is fraudulent, but they keep winning. Like I said earlier, SEC wins are hard to come by and a team can't be docked at this point in their season for winning an ugly SEC game. That is exactly what happened with their win over Auburn, they didn't deserve it but somehow still got it.

Crimson Tide fans are reeling: two losses in three games, and that third game was almost a loss. It's bad down in Tuscaloosa, and it truly looks like Alabama is a middle-of-the-road SEC team now. Nothing special, but still tough compared to the rest of the co

They dominated the Sooners in all areas. It really was an embarrassment for Oklahoma. South Carolina came into their house and beat them on their own field. The Gamecocks are a team that is hard to figure out. Similar to Kentucky, it's like they know how to play good and bad. At any moment, it could be either of those two.

Statement win for Billy Napier and crew. Sure, Kentucky looks to be on the regression train. But Napier is trying to save his job and prove that the future is bright in Gainesville. With two true freshmen running the offense, it looked explosive, and they hammered a top-five defense in the Wildcats.

The Razorbacks are a middle-of-the-road SEC team, and so they find themselves in the middle of the SEC Power Rankings week in and week out. They aren't great, but they aren't bad.

They looked terrible, so much so that their offensive coordinator was fired this weekend. The Sooners are in trouble as they have to now take on Ole Miss.

Kentucky has been prepared for only two SEC games this year: Georgia and Ole Miss. In the other games they have played, it looks as if they don't know what to do or how to do it. They've been full of miscues, turnovers, penalties, and missed assignments. It's an embarrassing display of frustrating football.

Auburn almost did it, pulling out a win against Missouri but couldn't close it out. They are a losing program at the bottom of the SEC, yet they should be licking their chops with the Kentucky game coming this week.

They will eventually pull one out because you can't say they aren't trying hard. They are desperate for an SEC win and continue to put up impressive fights, but they aren't a good team this year.
