'Business'. That's what Mark Pope called his field trip to Keeneland on Saturday afternoon as he played host to Kentucky transfer target Amari Williams.

The Drexel transfer has quickly become a priority target for Kentucky and this weekends visit went a long way in showing him that.

“I’m not exactly sure what I’m allowed to talk about or not but we’re here on business," Pope told TVG in an interview at Keenland. "So we’re trying to get some work done.”

An official visit is an official visit. But when you're able to take players out in public and make them feel the energy and love of the fanbase, there's no better selling tool than that.

Mark Pope needed to land Williams and this weekend certainly showed he's willing to do whatever it takes to get the commitment -- even thinking outside of the box and using everything to his disposal.

While on the visit, it was reported that Williams had trimmed his list, again, to two programs -- Kentucky and Mississippi State. St. John's was previously in the mix as well.
