Philadelphia is the City of Brotherly Love and they have showed it to every big time athlete who sticks around and really makes Philly their home. That's exactly what former Kentucky guard Tyrese Maxey has done during his time with the 76ers.

Maxey, who was drafted by the 76ers in the 2020 Draft with the 21st overall pick, just signed a five-year $204 million max contract this offseason fresh off of a career year.

The 23-year-old guard averaged 25.9 points and 6.2 assists per game this past season for the 76ers who lost in the first round of the postseason to the New York Knicks.

It's clear Maxey is emerging into a star in the NBA and he's been open about his love for Philly. So, in return, Philadelphia made sure that he felt the love from the organization -- outside of the contract extension offered.

The organization followed up the conract extension and surprised Maxey with a specific museum that focused on his journey to the NBA -- from his early days of basketball to his time at Kentucky -- and the early impact he's made on the 76ers' organization and what's to come.

Involved in that were also testimonials from members of his family and appearances from his running-mate Joel Embiid as well as Sixers' all-time great Julius Erving.

It's clear -- Maxey loves being in Philadelphia and Philadelphia loves Tyrese Maxey. His passion shows it, his play shows it and now the Sixers support for him shows it.
