Antnonio Reeves is the latest Kentucky Wildcat to hear his name called in the 2024 NBA Draft, selected by the New Orleans Pelicans with the 47th overall pick in the second round.

Reeves is coming off of a terrific career and past two seasons with Kentucky. Last year he averaged 20.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and shot 44.7 percent from three -- one of the best percentages in all of college basketball.

He averaged 21.2 points per game in SEC play alone.

"Antonio Reeves is having a ridiculous year," John Calipari said towards the end of last year. "If there are two or three guards in the country playing better than Antonio Reeves, can you name them ... Every time we need a basket, he goes and gets it. He’s rebounding. I mean, like, I’m talking like, (playing like an) All-American."

One of the reasons for NBA attention for Reeves is his ability to shoot from the corner -- a deadly skill to have in the NBA as a role player.

Last season, Reeves shot 46.8 percent in corner 3s -- third best in the country.

In 67 games at Kentucky across two years, he put up averages of 17.2 points and shot 42.2 percent from three. He made 164 3s in his Kentucky career.

Reeves spent three seasons at Illinois State before Kentucky, averaging 13.4 points and shooting 34.8 percent from three.

Reeves will go down as one of the top transfers in Kentucky history.
