Fans of the Ole Miss Rebels were absolutely stunned after Kentucky pulled off a major upset in Oxford, Mississippi, 20-17. The Rebels came into the game with an AP ranking of sixth in the nation, while Kentucky was unranked and had lost its first two SEC games. However, Kentucky had already played top competition, and Ole Miss had not, and that seemed to be a major factor as Ole Miss was out of sync all day.
Credit to the Kentucky defense for flustering the Rebels offensive game plan. Ole Miss came in as the number one offense in the country at 670.8 yards per game, and Kentucky held them to nearly half that at only 353 offensive yards.
Ole Miss fans were visibly stunned after their kicker, Caden Davis, missed a 48-yard field goal to tie the game in the closing seconds. You can watch the video below and see some of the best instant reactions of Ole Miss fans.
I could watch this over and over and study different fans each time.

Ole Miss fans took to X to post about their dissappointing loss. Most of the tweets were very normal after a loss, things like "I can't believe that happened!" and "Ugly game" but as you could expect there were also some really great ones. Here are some of the best I could find.
Here’s the biggest shot you can take.

It’s an L, a bad one, and what do you do from here? You can’t let this happen again.
I didn’t even recognize our team today very very very disappointed in this performance, very very very! Get it together guys. You’re better than what I saw today on that field. My 15yr old son asked how is our guys so fragile to get hurt every other play, he just couldn’t…

The Ole Miss Rebels won't have it any easier as they head on the road to take on South Carolina next Saturday. The Gamecocks are the team that ran through Kentucky towards the beginning of the season. It looks more and more like that game was an anomaly for the Wildcats, but South Carolina is going to be chomping at the bit as Ole Miss comes to town.
Kentucky, on the other hand, goes into their bye week with tons of momentum and excitement for how they can turn this season around and even make some chaotic noise in the SEC.
