Kentucky Head Coach Mark Stoops pulled off one of the greatest wins in his coaching career, knocking off an AP 6th-ranked Ole Miss in Oxford, Mississippi. He did it with a gutsy 4th and 7 call to lead to the final touchdown of the game and the ultimate victory. The final score was 20-17, and the first time Kentucky had won in Oxford since 1978.

Afterward, the scene in the locker room for Kentucky can only be described as wild and joyful. Stoops even was crowd surfing as his players paraded him around. He was over the moon, and his players were reveling in the joy of the victory. While the crowd surfing may get all the press clippings, he also showed off some pretty sweet dance moves as he celebrated with his players. Check out the clip below posted by a couple of the athletes in the locker room:

Here's another view from the official Kentucky football account:

It may be one of the best things you see a Coach do all season as he celebrates with his players. He knew how important this win was not only to knock off a top-ranked team but also to get their first SEC win. It was also a win they were longing for because Stoops and his Wildcats feel that they are better than their 3-2 record indicates. They almost knocked off Georgia at home a couple of weeks ago, and it left a bitter taste in their mouths.

They came in ready, battle-tested, and went against a team that had yet to be tested, playing all below-average FPI-ranked teams. The Ole Miss Rebels came in, leading the nation in both offensive yards per game and yards allowed per game on defense. They looked every bit of their billing of a top-ranked team coming into the game, and Kentucky took advantage of Ole Miss believing their own press clippings.
