Survive and advance. That's what TBT is all about. And for La Familia, they did more than just survive on Sunday.

La Familia -- Kentucky's alumni team in the $1M winner-take-all tournament -- took down The Nawf on Sunday afternoon, 81-64, to advance to the Round of 16.

Despite the comfortable final score, La Familia had to fight back from a three-point deficit at halftime as they trailed for the entire first half. Their first lead didn't come until the 8:08 mark of the third quarter -- but it was a lead that they would never give up again.

As the lead stretched to as many as 19 points for La Familia, it was Kerem Kanter -- the brother of Enes Kanter -- who led the squad with 26 points on 10-of-12 from the field.

Helping pace La Familia was Eric Bledsoe who finished with 16 points, nine rebounds and five assitsts, and Nate Sestina with 15 points and four made 3s.

Willie Cauley-Stein was a force in the paint, finishing with eight points, seven rebounds and seven blocks.

The full roster also includes Andrew and Aaron Harrison, Kellan Grady, James Young and Daniel Orton, with Tyler Ulis as the head coach.

The group of former Wildcats will play on Tuesday night on 9:00 pm ET against Herd That, the top seed in the Lexington Region and Marshall's alumni team.
