Karter Knox has family ties with Cal while the coach was at Kentucky

Another 5-star player in Kentucky's current class is Karter Knox. The Atlanta, Georgia native has not yet signed his letter of intent, and that makes him an even bigger threat to be an Arkansas target.

What's more, 247Sports shows that Knox had an offer from the Razorbacks meaning that he's at least considered that program as an option. But what makes him most likely to be a target of Cal's is his family's connection to the coach.

Knox's older brother, Kevin Knox, played at Kentucky under Cal in 2017-18. There, he became a lottery pick in the NBA Draft going No. 9 overall to the New York Knicks.

The 6-foot-5 wing is already 225 pounds meaning he has a grown man's physique. He's the No. 19 player in the nation and the No. 6 small forward in his class.

Knox is a three-level scorer. He has long arms and he is a respectable outside shooter. He doesn't seem to be a one-and-done candidate meaning he could become a player who develops into a strong college veteran before testing the NBA waters. That's something Kentucky has been lacking so losing Knox would be a big blow to the Wildcats.
