Kentucky hasn't been shy about reaching out to and pursuing top transfer prospects this spring and another name has emerged as a real priority for the Wildcats.

That is Stanford transfer wing Andrej Stojakovic. Yes, if that name sounds familiar it's because Andrej is the son of former NBA standout Peja Stojakovic.

Andrej, who just finished his first year at Stanford, is reportedly getting courted by some of the top programs in the country. That includes Kentucky being 'heavily involved', per ESPN insider Jeff Borzello.

Kentucky reaching out to Stojakovic isn't a huge surprise with how many openings it has in its roster. The 6-foot-7 wing averaged 7.8 points and 3.2 rebounds per game as a freshman last season. He had his moments, but struggled with his consistency at times.

He shot just 32.7 percent from three and hit 34 3s on the season, but he had 11 games without a single make.

His ability to shoot the ball, which is what he was known for in high school, is an intriguing skillset that would pair well with some of the skillsets that Kentucky is rumored to get from the transfer portal. Mark Pope's offenses, which ranked third in the country in made 3s last year and second in attempted 3s, is known for being a heavy perimeter-oriented attack.

Stojakovic was a former McDonald's All-American and five-star recruit in the 2023 class.

North Carolina, Creighton, Washington, USC, Michigan, Louisville and Cal are the other programs involved with Stojakovic.
