Kentucky basketball: Wildcats fall in latest AP Poll

The Kentucky Wildcats are feeling the effects of their overtime loss on Saturday to Texas A&M on Saturday. In a week that saw numerous top-ten upsets, the Cats were not exempt from the January madness. The latest AP Poll dropped today, and the Cats expectantly dropped down a few spots.

The Cats fall to 8th in the standings but should be thankful for a wild week that included so many upsets. The Wildcats have three losses on the season. Unfortunately, two of those losses belong to unranked teams. However, rankings should be the last thing on their mind. Kentucky will welcome Mississippi State to town on Wednesday in what should be another tough matchup in the new-look SEC.
