The rivalry between Kentucky basketball and Louisville turns to another chapter on Thursday night as the Wildcats and Cardinals play at the KFC Yum! Center.

While the Wildcats are a much younger team than Louisville, Kentucky is in a whole different bracket (no pun intended). Kenny Payne's days as the Louisville head coach seem to be numbered, as the Cardinals don't seem to be too much improved from last year's disaster of a team.

On the other end of the spectrum is Kentucky, a team that has multiple quality wins in North Carolina and Miami. They nearly took down the Kansas Jayhawks, only losing by 5 in the Champions Classic. At this point, the Wildcats have proven they are a team to be taken seriously.

Still, playing at Louisville always presents a challenge. This game is circled by Cardinals fans everywhere and the KFC Yum! Center is sure to be rocking on Thursday night. Even though the 5-6 Cardinals are nothing short of a mess on the basketball court, they are sure to head into this game wanting to shock the college basketball nation. It's Louisville's national championship.
