Former Kentucky guard announces transfer destination after one season in Lexington

Another former Kentucky Wildcat has found a new home through the transfer portal.
Freshman guard Joey Hart announced on Thursday that he would be heading back to the state of Indiana and committing to Ball State.
"Grateful for the past. Excited for the future," Hart said in a social media post. "Back home again in Indiana."
Hart spent one season in Lexington, appearing in just seven games. He totaled just three points on the season.
The 6-foot-5 guard originally committed to UCF before deciding on Kentucky. Indiana was another program that Hart visited after he opened up his recruitment.
Hart, from Linton-Stockton (Ind.) high school, was ranked the No. 28 shooting guard in the 2023 recruiting class. He was rated the No. 7 player in Indiana.
He led Linton-Stockton to the Class 2A state finals as a senior, when he averaged 23.7 points and shot 40 percent from three.
Former Kentucky forward Aaron Bradshaw committed to Ohio State while Zvonimir Ivisic committed to Arkansas. Adou Thiero and DJ Wagner are the two other members of the Kentucky roster currently in the transfer portal without a destination.
