The Kentucky Wildcats will travel to Ole Miss for the first time this season, taking on the Rebels in a noon kickoff at Vaught Hemingway Stadium. The 2-2 Wildcats are expected to lose by multiple touchdowns to the nation's number 6 team. To give you an idea of how the game may play out, we simulated a game of EA Sports' College Football 25 between the two teams.

The sim game was a defensive battle for the majority of the game, with the score tied going into the fourth quarter at 7-7. It was this quarter that decided the game. Kentucky was able to put up a final touchdown, but the Rebels found a way to score twice, once on a three-yard pass from quarterback Jaxon Dart to Jordan Watkins to take the 14-7 lead.

Ole Miss would score another time to make it a 21-7 lead when starting running back Henry Parrish Jr. punched in a 6-yard scamper. Making the game feel out of hand, as Kentucky was trying to find a way back in it, starting quarterback Brock Vandagriff was able to connect with Brandon White for an explosive 39-yard touchdown to make the game 21-14, and that became the final score.

Vandagriff went 4-10 with 144 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions to his counterpart, Dart, who was 5-9 for 38 yards and a touchdown. Both of those stats remind you that this is a sim game. The guy slinging it this season will attempt more than nine passes and have more than 38 yards.

Chip Trayanum did play in the sim game and he went for 79 yards without finding his way into the end zone. The most impressive play for either team was an 82-yard touchdown by Dane Key in the first quarter to give Kentucky a 7-0 lead.

This game will play out much differently in real life.

There's no doubt this game will play out differently in real life. Dart is one of the top passers in the country, and that won't stop this game. Kentucky will slow Ole Miss down, there's no doubt about that because Ole Miss will not be able to keep putting up insane numbers in SEC play but it won't be to this degree. The defenses for both teams will be formidable and will have some big stops as both defenses look to be among the best in the SEC. It would not be surprising to see a close game like this, but I think it will look drastically different than what the sim gave us.
